The story behind my logo design

I'm an experienced software engineer, but my logo design skills are kinda average. When I need some class and style in my life, I usually get in touch with my little brother Geoff, who has the design skills I always wanted. Here he is on national TV in New Zealand.

So I told Geoff I wanted something simple that is uniquely me while showing my love for things technological. I didn’t really have to tell him much as he knows me pretty well. He came up with this awesome node-type design that has my initials in it. It’s kinda technical, kinda USB-ish, and 100% me.

I really like the simplicity, round lines, and thought that went into this design. It’s stood the test of time because I’m a notorious tinkerer — but I haven’t felt the urge to change this design for almost a decade now.
