The iPhone XR takes excellent night shots and slow motion footage. However, tonight at Ekka it was ‘ghosting’ with weird reflections in the sky. The only way to get rid of them was to point the camera parallel to the ground or lower. So consequently I’m guessing it was the lights and night sky causing some kind of glitch. Hopefully it’s not a common thing. I’ve checked the phone lens and nothing seemed to be obstructing it. I even removed the case to see if that was the cause. However that made no difference.
I’ll keep an eye on this issue and report back if I find a way to remove these annoying artefacts.
Did a bit of research online, and it appears this is a common issue with iPhones going back a few generations.
